It is a starry, cloudy sky and night. The door to Justicia’s office in the clouds opens.

 

Lily (shyly): Ms. Justicia, I think I’m ready to call it a night. Unless you need me to help you out?

 

Justicia (smiles): No, of course Lily! Please go rest. Thank you again!

 

Lily (smiles and waves): Will do! Please rest, too! Mr. Cupid would be mad if he knew you’ve been overwhelmed again!

 

Justicia (chuckles): Lily, he said you could call him informally. Plus, he cares the same amount about me as my other friends!

 

Lily (sighs and chuckles): Oh, miss, you still don’t see it, do you? (whispers) Poor Mr. Eros.

 

Justicia (gently): What was that?

 

Lily (quickly): Nothing, miss! I’ll set up the meeting with other angels as the schedule demands tomorrow! See you!

 

Lily exits; Justicia has paperwork still piling on her desk. She is busy working on a few sheets from one pile; suddenly, there is a knock on the door.

 

Justicia (not looking up): Oh, Lily, did you forget something?

 

Eros (clears his throat): No, or maybe, yes?

 

Justicia (surprised): Eros!

 

She gets up and hugs him immediately; he’s a bit surprised but welcomes the hug happily.

 

Justicia (bashfully now): I didn’t hear when you were coming back! I know that your aunt asked for your participation in the FBOY Island reboot.

 

Eros (embarrassed): Yeah, it wasn’t so much of an asking but rather a demanding. (He quickly meets Justicia’s gaze.) Wait, how did you know about that?

 

Justicia blushes even more now and drops her gaze from Eros; she moves around her office and fiddles with everything as Eros teasingly follows her.

 

Justicia (blushing): Oh, well, you know, it got popular, and you know, Lily is a cherub, and she just loves love.

 

Eros (flirting and teasingly): Right, Lily.

 

Justicia (teasingly angry): Yes, believe it or not.

 

Eros: I’m so glad that you didn’t see how I lost my cool around two creepy jerks and punched them both.

 

Justicia (meets his gaze): No, you didn’t! Michael only punched one, and it was after those creeps kept insulting Diana, your mom, and so many other women! Plus, you’re an angel now, so your mom stopped you from getting –

 

Eros starts laughing, and Justicia stares surprised.

 

Eros (wiping a tear): So, I guess Lily wasn’t the only one who watched it?

 

Justicia (bright red): Oh, well, on my spare time, I did watch it, and plus, my office is so close that I was practically hearing it always. So, I just thought it’d be a great moment to bond with Lily.

 

Eros (shyly): Oh, so I guess it was just for Lily.

 

Justicia turns away from Eros.

 

Justicia: Well, I also wanted to know what you were doing, since you suddenly couldn’t contact any of us.

 

Eros: Well, it was a sudden request, and I –

 

Eros notices Justicia’s bright red ears. Eros smiles confidently, gets closer to her, and gently places his hand to meet hers. Justicia looks up and meets his gaze.

 

Eros (cont’d): I would have stayed if you needed me, you know.

 

Justicia: We’re just friends, besides, then you wouldn’t have met Diana.

 

Eros stops holding her hand.

 

Eros (smiles sadly): Diana is a great girl.

 

Justicia: Yes, she is.

 

Justicia gently holds his hand again. Eros stares happily surprised.

 

Eros: I just had heard that you were surrounded again by your friends, and I didn’t want to intrude.

 

Justicia (chuckles): You’re never a bother! Besides, I was going to compliment you on your kindness towards the guys and Diana on the show.

 

Eros: Well, you know, I just have had so many years of experience on romance and its evolution.

 

Justicia: I always did love that about you.

 

Eros stares and has a wide smile.

 

Eros: I love how dedicated you are with helping others.

 

Justicia drops her gaze and blushes again.

 

Justicia: I love how you care for others, too.

 

Eros: I love your laugh.

 

Justicia: I love your smile.

 

They both meet each other’s gaze and chuckle.

 

Eros: So, I guess my mom was right.

 

Justicia (confused): What do you mean?

 

Eros: She said that I was projecting my feelings on Diana because she reminded me, in a way, of you.

 

Justicia (blushes): If I had known –

 

Eros smiles and gently moves a strand of her hair from her face.

 

Justicia: I would’ve wanted to date you since a while back.

 

Eros stares confused.

 

Eros (shocked): I thought you didn’t want to date anyone since you broke up with Casper, the Angel of Death?

 

Justicia (chuckles): Nope, it’s been centuries, and I’ve moved on. (She gently nudges him.) I met a super great angel, but we were stuck in the friend zone.

 

Eros: Well, I also love a super great angel.

 

Justicia: By the way, aren’t you busy? Don’t you have to help Diana and Michael meet?

 

Eros (chuckles): Actually, my mom never wiped their memories, and she gave them each $3 million. They set up a nonprofit to help others pay off their student loans and then use the tax reporting to fund their company and help others, while they still work in their fields and collaborate on their research!

 

Justicia: Oh, they really are two amazing young people!

 

Eros: Yup, I feel like a proud parent now!

 

Justicia chuckles.

 

Eros (cont’d): Are you still busy though? Am I bothering you?

 

Justicia (shakes her head): I am busy, but you could never be a bother. I have to go to California soon to hype up the voting and set up more guardian angels to protect the politicians and civilians. Then I have to go and work on the case of the little girl, Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

 

Eros (sadly): I understand. I’m sorry to hear about that tragedy.

 

Justicia: Actually, I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind going with me?

 

Eros smiles and gently squeezes her hand.

 

Eros : Of course! I’ll be with you whenever you need me!
