Today is February 10, 2025; as of right now, there is a lot of sadness in the world, both from the elected, wannabe-dictator and globally from so much war tensions. Humanity, sometimes, feels to be more cruel than the rest of the animal kingdom, but there are beautiful moments on the micro-everyday level. While I am deeply political, for I cannot afford to be apolitical and that is my revenge against the discrimination that my culture and other minorities have dealt with and continue to deal with, I also want to write beautiful, happy stories to help give my heart, body, mind and soul a slice of hope. Therefore, I find this week, the one of Valentine’s Day, the best to help provide not so much a distraction, but a gentle reminder that laughter and love are still present, even in these difficult times. I hope you enjoy and find comfort in these little silly stories, as I do.
